Welcome to Programmable

As lovers of film, we personally understand the value of great content. This doesn’t just mean content on the theatre screen, but also information to promote your growth as filmmakers, film-lovers, and artists. For that reason, I’d like to introduce you toProgrammable, a blog loaded with the information you crave, whether your goal is to become an auteur filmmaker or simply appreciate films on a deeper level.

At the heart of Programmable is Ryan McDonald, Prindie’s own Director of Programming. Programming for Ryan is a true passion. A good programmer is vital to a great film festival, and Ryan’s work has helped elevate Prindie to deliver a one-of-a-kind experience for our audiences. Given Ryan’s expertise, he is cultivating this blog to delve into the behind-the-scenes worlds of industry professionals and answer the questions that are most important to modern filmmakers… providing valuable insight on how to craft a film that, at the end of the day, any film festival would dub ‘programmable.’

Ryan will curate his blog content with the same discerning eye with which he curates visual art for inclusion in Prindie, making it an essential read for those who want to go beyond an average love of film.

We look forward to sharing a deeper film experience with you here!

Come back August 29th for our first interview with Some Shorts' Wouter Jansen.
