FEATURED: Landing Up

CHRISSIE is young, wild, and living on the streets.  She and her best friend CECE use their youth and good looks to their advantage, playing a con game with strangers to put a roof over their heads while all the time fantasizing about having enough money to score their dream apartment. But the girls also find themselves confronting the darker realities of their situation. Chrissie struggles to stay out of the way of FRANK, the manipulative manager of the homeless shelter who doesn’t just have good intentions. And Cece continues an involvement with JAMES, an abusive addict who brings out the worst in her.

When Chrissie meets DAVID, a funny, genuine guy who works his way into her heart, she falls for him and must decide whether to confess the real circumstances of her life or continue her carefully crafted lie. As their relationship grows she realizes she needs to prove herself not only to him but also to the people in his life, including his suspicious roommate, AVI, and his coworker LYSI, who at the first chance is waiting to pounce on him. When Avi discovers a dark link to Chrissie’s past he immediately tells David. But when David confronts Chrissie about it she must make the biggest decision of her life – to tell David the truth about herself or to keep her lie going at all costs – even at the cost of someone’s life.
